Wheelchair Accessible Taxi in Peterborough
Passenger Assist is a specialist wheelchair-accessible transport provider dedicated exclusively to supporting disabled, elderly, and vulnerable passengers across Peterborough and surrounding areas.
All Passenger Assist drivers are fully licensed, DBS-checked, professionally trained, and authorised by Peterborough City Council, giving customers complete confidence that they are travelling with a compliant, trusted, and experienced provider.
Our fleet consists entirely of purpose-built Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs). Every vehicle is equipped as standard with tail-lift access, secure wheelchair restraint systems, side steps, and safety grab handles, ensuring safe, dignified, and comfortable travel for wheelchair users and passengers with limited mobility.
We provide door-to-door assisted transport, supporting passengers from their home, care setting, or ward through to their destination and back again. We understand that trust and consistency matter, which is why passengers may request the same driver for future journeys whenever possible.
Assistance dogs are welcome to travel with Passenger Assist at no additional charge.

Journeys are carried out using tail-lift Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) with trained, DBS-checked drivers who offer door-to-door assistance, including escorting passengers to reception when required. Extra time is allowed for mobility needs, anxiety or complex appointments.

Airport & Long-Distance Assisted Travel

 Extra time is allowed for mobility needs, rest breaks and assistance with arrivals.Â
Where agreed in advance, drivers can escort passengers to terminal entrances or check-in points.
