Passenger Assist specialises in supporting wheelchair users, elderly and vulnerable passengers, and individuals who require additional assistance when travelling. All Passenger Assist drivers are fully licensed, DBS-checked, professionally trained, and authorised by Peterborough City Council, giving our customers complete confidence that they are travelling with a compliant, trusted, and experienced provider.
Our fleet consists entirely of purpose-built Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs). Every vehicle is equipped as standard with tail-lift access, secure wheelchair restraint systems, side steps, and safety grab handles, ensuring safe, dignified, and comfortable travel for wheelchair users and passengers with limited mobility.
We pride ourselves on delivering door-to-door assisted travel, supporting passengers from their home, care setting, or ward, right through to their destination and back again. We understand how important trust and familiarity are, which is why we offer the option to request the same driver for future journeys whenever possible.
Assistance dogs are always welcome to travel with Passenger Assist at no extra charge, and our drivers are trained to provide calm, patient, and respectful support throughout every journey.

Registered Assistance Dogs Welcome
Passenger Assist is an assistance-dog-friendly transport service. Registered assistance dogs, including guide and hearing dogs, are always welcome at no extra charge.
Our spacious wheelchair-accessible vehicles provide a comfortable environment for both passengers and their assistance dogs, and our drivers are trained to support journeys with care and respect.
Please let us know at the time of booking if you are travelling with an assistance dog.
